James Hinebaugh has co-authored a chapter along with Aimy Bazylak and Partha Mukherjee (Texas A&M University) entitled “Multi-scale modeling of two-phase transport in polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cells.” in “Polymer electrolyte membrane and direct methanol fuel cell technology: Fundamentals and performance of low temperature fuel cells (Volume 1)” Edited by C Hartnig, Chemetall GmbH and C Roth, Technische Universität Darmstadt, Germany.

On March 29, 2012, Aimy Bazylak delivered a guest seminar entitled “Microscale considerations of PEMFC materials and transport” as part of the Department of Chemical Engineering’s Seminar Series at Queen’s University.

On March 15, 2012, Associate Director Aimy Bazylak gave a talk about her research in investigating transport in porous media for clean energy applications for the NSERC CREATE Program in Distributed Generation for Remote Communities.
